I know I don't post nearly as much as I should. It is very hard to keep up with 50 things at once, and, I guess, my blog gets pushed to the back of the line. As I was looking through my older entries, I realized that I haven't written anything about my tutus!
Tutus are the main staple of my Etsy shop (found
here). I hadn't intended for that to be the case. When I first started, I had planned on focusing strictly on my jewelry. I am so glad that the tutus took off the way that they have. I have sent tutus for party favors, summer camps, dance recitals, schools plays, parades, marathons, and even the London Olympics. I love hearing what the tutus will be used for, and I especially love when I'm lucky enough to get a customer photo.

TuLeaf Photography is simply amazing. All of the photos in the post were taken by her. I wish that we didn't live across the country from one another, so my family and I could have TuLeaf photos.
Last week I broke the 500 sales mark! I am very excited about that. I don't know how many tutus that breaks down to, but I would guess AT LEAST 1000. It is hard for me to believe that I've made that many. I have so much fun making the tutus for customers. I am so thankful for every single one of them. I absolutely love when I have repeat customers. It means that I've done my job and made them happy.
I also enjoy custom orders. I make tutus to match outfits. I've made tutus for Halloween costumes. I've made all types of school/sports team tutus. When you look at the listings, I have a few school tutus available. Living in Alabama, I have to sell Auburn (WAR EAGLE!) and Alabama tutus. My husband is from Georgia, so I have the UGA team colors listed also. Send me the link to your school's colors, and I will try my best to match them. Anything else you can think of?
